I had followed this band a few years and was given demos & other recordings while running IVM. When I was sent this full length from Midwest indie rock/experimental band, Darkroom, I just knew there was something special with them.

"A Curious Excavation" was released in 2007, independently. Their song "Six Eight Four Four" even appeared on "Hearts Bleed Passion Vol. 3" in 2008 on IVM.

If you are a fan of Anathallo, Damien Jurado, Abandon Kansas, or My Epic, you'll love the music of Darkroom.
